Grahame Morris MP Working for Easington
Grahame Morris MP asked Matt Hancock about his department’s plans to re-start cancer treatments and services, following the coronavirus outbreak and lockdown.
The Easington MP cited the tragic case of Kelly Smith, who died from bowel cancer in June, aged 31. Her treatment was paused for 12 weeks at the beginning of the lockdown.
Grahame also outlined the merits of radiotherapy, a treatment which can be administered in way that is Covid-secure, and which does not have the same immunosuppressant effects as chemotherapy:
