I continue to stand with WASPI campaigners, whose treatment has been nothing short of a profound injustice.

For over a decade, I have stood shoulder to shoulder with WASPI women in my constituency, at rallies, in meetings, and in Parliament. Their case is clear, their demand for justice is compelling, and their resilience is inspiring. Yet, despite undeniable evidence of maladministration and repeated calls for compensation, the fight goes on.

The facts are stark. Since the campaign began, more than 300,000 WASPI women have passed away without seeing the justice they deserve. Meanwhile, the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman has made it clear: this injustice must be addressed. Compensation and an apology are not just recommendations, they are a moral imperative.
Ministers must act. When an injustice is identified, it is the duty of any government to root it out and make it right.

If we disregard the ombudsman’s findings we risks setting a dangerous precedent. It’s time to respect ombudsman’s recommendations, deliver the apology, compensation and justice these women have fought so long to receive.

We won’t stop until justice is done.
