Grahame Morris MP Working for Easington

Tuesday 4th May is Firefighters’ Memorial Day.
The day honours the sacrifice of firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty, acknowledging the courage and dedication of generations of firefighters, including those who serve our communities today.
No matter how much time has passed, we will remember the firefighters who died protecting our communities.
Covid restricts our ability to meet in person this year, but at midday, I will stand in a minute’s silence, joining thousands of firefighters, their families and the public to remember the sacrifice of those who protect us.
MPs have been asked to show their support by signing Early Day Motion marking Firefighters’ Memorial Day and recognising the bravery and sacrifice of over 2,300 firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
